Disconnected jottings, random idling and odd thoughts

This will always be an incomplete work-in-progress; development continues on a desultory basis.

The Daunting Project

me This site is more like a personal diary than a website. Don't expect any of it to make sense unless you know me really well. I'll try to make it more newbie friendly but since it's just a few days old what can you expect at the moment?

It's my own fault for starting to do this I suppose, but a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. Work on this site started in July 2003, so it will be rubbish for months yet. Initially it's going to be a placeholder for odd bits and pieces of content as I accumulate them.

The first piece of random content is scans of odd bits of photos that I have from mostly Instruction Set days - the new house in Ely is smaller than the mansion in Bradford and the photos are being packed away never to see the light of day again I suspect. In moving them I scanned some of the more interesting. You can see them here: old photos. Because a lot are of friends and some are in situations of embarrassment you will need to ask for a username/password before you can see them. Sorry about that.

The next item is for David O'Brien, photos mostly taken at his house-cooling party. You can see them here.

Want to see what I've been doing in my spare time? Marvel at my arc welding skills then.

I've recently joined the Parent-Teacher association at the kids' school and I'm webmaster of the KSEPA site, something of waste of time since the school abolished the association.

For those interested (you know who you are), the description and photos of the famous exploding coffee-can will follow when I have time. To download the video of that stunning experience, be prepared to wait, it's 25MB long. If you have lots of time, then this is the link.
